Vehicle Auto Glass

Privacy policy

What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains how Vehicle Auto Glass handles personal information. We are the data controller for the information described below. If you have any question about it, contact us on 07447 075911 or at luis.dugin@gmail.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote for and carry out glass work:

  • Your name, phone number and, if you give it, your email address.
  • The postcode and address where the vehicle will be worked on.
  • Your vehicle registration, make and model.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in a message or on the phone.

We do not take payment details through this website, and we do not ask for them by email.

Why we hold it

We use your information to prepare a quote, arrange an appointment, carry out the work, and deal with any guarantee claim afterwards. The lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract once agreed.

Where you have asked us a general question rather than requested work, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed jobs are kept for six years, which covers the guarantee period and the length of time we may need the record for tax and accounting purposes.

Who else sees it

We share the minimum necessary with:

  • Glass suppliers, so the correct part can be ordered against your registration.
  • Our accountant and, where relevant, HM Revenue and Customs.
  • Your insurer, but only where you have asked us to deal with a claim on your behalf.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and this website

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics. The contact form sends its contents to us and nothing else.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, provide a copy, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it where we have no continuing legal reason to keep it. You can also object to processing or ask us to restrict it.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it.
